Relax & Breathe For Labour

These sessions are for women who want to focus on using movement, positions and simple breathing techniques to stay calm and in control in labour to help them work with their contractions

Expectant mums can have the opportunity to:

  • encourage their baby into a good position for labour

  • relax with their baby bump

  • find out how different positions can help them to work with their contractions
  • practise using their breathing to ease tension and anxiety and to remain calm and in control. This can be beneficial during labour, as well as coping with the demands of their baby
  • benefit from relaxation techniques
  • benefit from having the opportunity to relax and prepare for labour

There are 3 women-only sessions. It is an ideal course for 2nd time mums as it provides the opportunity to debrief their first birth experience and to focus on this baby and labour.

£25 per course

Sessions run between 6-7.30pm at The Linskill Centre in Tynemouth

One-to-one sessions are available for expectant women who are unable to attend a course
