Chocolate & Chat for new mums

This course provides the perfect opportunity to get together with other new mums and share, in a safe environment, the highs and lows of becoming a parent. You can try to make sense of your new role as a mother and the changes this brings to your life and how you can be a confident mother.

Ideally babies are aged between 8 weeks and 6 months old.

There will be 6 sessions looking at issues such as:

• The impact of becoming a mum - how reality can differ from the expectations
• Birth stories and birth recovery
• Settling your baby
• Baby development and bonding with your baby
• Dealing with conflicting advice
• Changing relationships
•  Next Steps - back to work/childcare/another baby?

The sessions also include simple baby massage techniques to help you continue to get to know
and bond with your baby.

This course focuses on discussion, chat and support - as well as tea and chocolate!
