As an antenatal teacher, postnatal discussion leader, doula and baby massage instructor, I provide unique and professional support and services from pregnancy and through life as a young family. 

I have provided antenatal classes and workshops in Newcastle and North Tyneside since 2002. I trained with the National Childbirth Trust and I possess a DipHE in Antenatal Education from the University of Bedfordshire. To extend my support to new parents I gained a DipHE in Postnatal Education and then became an Infant Massage Instructor to run my Chocolate, Chat & Baby Massage course.

It is also important to me to be able to offer birth support for parents, as well as extra support in those early weeks and months as a parent. I trained as birth & postnatal doula in 2009 and, since then, I have supported a number of parents throughout the birth of their baby and through those first few days and weeks with a new baby.

As a mother, I understand the excitement and concerns of being pregnant, giving birth and becoming a parent and my courses reflect this. My passion is supporting expectant and new parents - I specialise in running small groups to ensure they are welcoming, friendly and supportive. I provide a personal approach to focus on and listen to you and to encourage you to feel empowered, prepared and confident.

Due to my training, experience and the range of services I provide, I possess excellent knowledge of birth, breastfeeding and parenting. I will provide you with the time and opportunity to ask questions and gain reassurance and I also offer a flexible approach and can contact me inbetween sessions and after your course has finished, for information and ongoing support.
